Every year,we have about a dozen of our broodmares covered, mostly by our "house stallions", and when finances permit,we take one or two mares to other studs, in order to add new and interesting blood to our pedigrees.

We also consider it our duty to take certain risks with our young stallions,to give us an early idea of their progeny (by giving them several mares with "proven success",we can soon see which combinations work best).

This was how we "launched" QUIKLY du SAUVETERRE, sold as a 5 year-old to Austria, where he combines his career as a stallion and competitor(we have kept two of his daughters whom we like very much, and a son out of JEREZANA to try out as a stallion) ; we are also very pleased with the conformation and temperament of QATARI LARZAC's progeny, we shall see how they turn out (the first ones will be 3 years old in 2011).

For several years we also used SHARIFIAN LOTOIS : firstly because of his combined pedigree of Flatracing (he was sired by AKBAR) and Endurance (Dahman and Sbah Hani on his maternal side),and then over the years we were impressed by the temperament and strong back he passes on to his offspring, not to mention the recent success of his flatracing progeny (one of the first to be raced was Sharif Lotois, a winner now exported).

Finally,our latest "bet" is REVE du SAUVETERRE, sold to Cécile MILETTO, but we are expecting 7 of his foals in 2011!
