With one farm situated on the Sauveterre Causse in Lozere, and the other on the Larzac Causse in the department of Herault, our studs have been endurance-orientated for the last twenty years or so. We have had the good fortune to be able to build from the very best origins, which included several Grandes Dames, and of course the legendary Persik and his best progeny, enriched by the introduction of other notable bloodlines.
AN EXCEPTIONAL REGION
TWO TOP CLASS STUDS
The Causses Majeurs (vast limestone upland ranges) form not only a natural reserve of exceptional animal and plant biodiversity, but are also ancient stockbreeding areas.
With the Cevennes National Park's purchase of the stallion Persik in 1974 and thanks to the dedication of a handful of enthusiastic breeders, and the legendary 160km Florac race, the Causses became the Birthplace of Equestrian Endurance.
Breeding expertise
This is confirmed year after year with a host of racing successes:our two studs have produced several CEI** and CEI*** winners (including Florac, our reference point) as well as several champions and vice-champions in the Novice World Championships (see racing achievements).
